Never getting a surprise bill

Set a spending cap and the bill cannot go past it. Here is how the money side works.

The thing people are most afraid of with cloud hosting is a bill arriving for hundreds of dollars because something went wrong at three in the morning. Here is how that is prevented.

On the free plan it cannot happen

There is no card on file. When you reach the included allowance, apps stop until the month resets. Nothing is charged, ever.

On a paid plan: set a spending cap

A spending cap is a maximum. When your usage would take you past it, we pause new work rather than continuing and billing you.

Set it to whatever number would make you unhappy to see. If you would be annoyed by a €20 bill, set it to €20.

What you are charged for

Your plan's monthly price covers a generous allowance of running time, traffic and build minutes. You only pay more if you go past that allowance, and only for what you actually used.

Your Usage page shows exactly where you are, updated as you go. Nothing there is a surprise at the end of the month.

Changing or stopping

You can change plan or cancel at any time from billing settings. Cancelling drops you to the free plan — your apps stay, subject to free plan limits.

If something looks wrong

Tell us. If you have been charged for something that looks like a mistake on our side, we will sort it out. We would much rather refund something than have you not trust the bill.
