Put your first app online

You need the code and nothing else. No card, no command line, no GitHub account.

Step 1 — Sign in

Go to the sign-in page and type your email address. We send you a link. Click it and you are in.

There is no password to choose or remember. If you ever need to get back in, you ask for another link.

Step 2 — Start a new app

Click New app.

You will see a big box. Paste your code straight into it. If your project is more than one file, put the folder into a .zip and use Or upload a folder instead — up to 4 MB that way.

If your project is bigger than 4 MB, use GitHub or your AI assistant instead. Neither has that limit.

Step 3 — Give it a name

The name becomes part of the web address, so budget-tracker becomes budget-tracker.picocloud.app. Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens.

Step 4 — Deploy

Press the button and wait. The first build usually takes under a minute — later ones are faster.

When it finishes you get a link. That link works from anywhere, on any device.

It did not work

That is normal and usually easy to fix. Two articles cover almost everything:

• My build failed — it never finished
• It deployed but the page will not load — it finished, but nothing appears

And if neither helps, ask us. A real person reads every message.
